I think everyone can agree that there are more times where change is good than there are where change is bad, am I right? Well, CNH Rescue is making moves and making changes.
As you may have noticed, our website has been down for several months. First, as the IT guy here at CNH Rescue, I want to apologize to all of our clients for this. I have had some major things occur in my personal life that have prevented me from being able to get the site back up and running in a timely manner, and for that, I truly apologize. Luckily, this has allowed for me to find a new, dedicated host for our site, which simply means that we don't have to worry about more extended downtime in the future. Also, it allows for us to provide an upgraded experience with the newest content management system from PHPFusion. This will allow for a more streamlined experience for both you, as well as for us. Feel free to register to be able to interact with the site. You will get a confirmation email, which may go to your spam folder. I had that issue when I tested the registration process when I was setting things up. Hopefully, this will be resolved once our domain name finishes linking to the site's new host.
Now, there are more changes than just using a fancy new site happening with CNH Rescue. In case there are any questions, yes, we have downsized our intake capacity. This is due to a combination of several factors. Don't worry, though. Just because we are taking in less rescues, doesn't mean we aren't still working to make sure that every dog has it's day. As we have downsized our intake capacity, we have expanded into a new outreach program.
It gives us great joy to announce CNH Rescue Resource (I'll just call it Resource for the rest of the article). Operating under the umbrella of the CNH Rescue's public service and outreach programs, Resource is here to help other rescues who are getting started or need assistance. More information will be provided regarding this in the coming weeks.
